APPEAL: Woman dies following Sprotbrough collision
A 63-year-old woman has sadly died following a collision in the Sprotbrough area of Doncaster yesterday (Thursday 5 November).
At 11.50am, it is reported that a green tractor with a single axle trailer attached to it was involved in a collision with the 63-year-old woman, a pedestrian, on Newton Lane.
It is understood that the tractor and trailer were reversing onto Newton Lane at the time of the collision.
The woman sadly suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Her family has been notified and they are receiving support from specially trained officers.
A 30-year-old man driving the tractor was arrested on suspicion of driving offences. He has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
