PUPILS PUSH ON WITH ROAD SAFETY

Even a pandemic couldn’t stop the Junior Road Safety Officers (JRSOs) at Holy Trinity primary phase in Barnsley.

They never stopped passing on their road safety messages to their school community, in a bid to try to keep everyone safe through their ever-changing circumstances.

Schools Road Safety Officer Allison Cooper said: “Have a look at the work they put into their roles – I’m sure you’ll be impressed!

“A very well done to all at Holy Trinity. Superb job.”

Every year the South Yorkshire Safer Roads Partnership (SYSRP) offers the Junior Road Safety program out to schools across the county.

The scheme involves pupils taking on the role of junior officers to help us to pass on the key road safety messages out to the local school communities.

If you think your school would like to run this programme, contact us at: enquiries@sysrp.co.uk
