Prime Minister Boris Johnson has announced a second national lockdown starting on Thursday 5 November.

But what does this mean for driving lessons and driving tests?

We are still waiting for clarification from the Government about this latest period of restrictions that are expected to remain in place until December 2.

What do we already know?

• Earlier in the year during the first lockdown period, both tests and driving lessons were suspended for everyone but key workers who needed to be able to drive.

• The latest rules state that only people from the same household or support bubble can travel together in a vehicle.
