Our road safety officer Allison Cooper took centre stage today to film one of South Yorkshire Safer Roads' new digital projects.
Due to Covid-19, over the last few months, the team has been unable to visit schools, colleges, events and host businesses to deliver road safety interventions.
To ensure that we continue to get key messages out to people of all ages and to all road user groups, we are launching a number of on-line versions of our work that will allow organisations to host the Safer Roads team regardless of the restrictions in place.
The first in our series of projects focuses on 'Crucial Crew' - our road safety intervention for primary-aged pupils preparing to travel to secondary school that would normally be delivered from our Lifewise Community Safety set.
The footage has now been taken and is being edited to make it 'school ready' as we speak.
