STORM BABET: WEATHER OVERVIEW
Today:
Wet and very windy on Friday as the influence of Strom Babet continues. Persistent and locally heavy rain likely, particularly over high ground, and strong easterly winds bringing gales to coastal areas. Feeling cool. Maximum temperature 12 °C.
Tonight:
Conditions remaining similar through the evening for many as rain and strong winds continue. Drier conditions spreading from the south overnight however, with winds easing. Minimum temperature 9 °C.
Saturday:
Much lighter winds into Saturday and conditions becoming drier as Friday’s rain clears north. Remaining largely cloudy however and scattered heavy showers likely into the afternoon. Maximum temperature 13 °C.
Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:
Drier and brighter conditions are likely Sunday and Monday, with cooler overnight temperatures. Turning more unsettled into Tuesday with stronger winds and outbreaks of rain likely.
